1. It's gonna be hot as fuck - Always. It was 105 degrees last Friday and home games are about to all about shorts and jerseys all the time. Also, there is very little shade, unlike the stick, especially on the visitors side of the field.
2. There are HELLA bathrooms. I mean hella. If you're waiting for more than a few seconds to take a piss I'd be surprised. And in the unfortunate situation that you need to take a shit, there are mad stalls. Good job team!
3. The Blue Lot 1, where most tailgaters will be tailgating is dusty, unpaved, and the parking lines are small as fuck. There are no landmarks and it's gonna be hard to find your people who you want to tailgate with. Plus it's a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium. there will definitely be lots of fights to and from the stadium and in the lots. The parking issue is going to need to be improved and soon.
4. Traffic in Santa Clara is shit. It took us 45 minutes AFTER we got off the freeway to finally get to the Blue Lot. It was a fucking mess and was frustrating as shit. This might be the biggest issue facing Levi's as people want to get tot he lot asap after driving 1+ hours to get there. FIX THIS SHIT NOW!
5. Concessions are cool and there should be zero lines to get your food. That doesn't mean the food is good. Generic tenders, burgers, dogs, etc...they coulda went with some local vendors doing cool things like Kinders or Fiveten Burger or something. They have a Curry booths, steamed buns booths,etc. I'm not eating that shit. The dope thing is that you can order straight from the APP, walk down and your food is ready is for pickup.
All in all, I can't wait for the season to begin. If Levi's can work out the kinks, it looks to be the best stadium in sports. Plus, with the design, it looks like it's gonna be loud! Here we go....
